If the World Was Mine
If the world was mine, I'd paint the skies
In shades of you, where sunrise lies.
Each star would glow with your gentle grace,
The moon would mirror your radiant face.
I'd string the oceans with melodies sweet,
Waves would hum where our hearts meet.
The winds would carry your whispered name,
A love unbound, forever the same.
Cities would bloom with gardens anew,
Streets alive with the thought of you.
Every corner, a love-filled shrine,
Built for us in a world divine.
Time would bow to our tender touch,
Stretching moments that mean so much.
I'd freeze the seconds your eyes meet mine,
Eternal, endless, love's design.
But the world is not mine, and yet I see
How it bends and turns when you're with me.
For in your arms, the cosmos aligns—
A borrowed world, but the love is mine.
